Everton assistant boss Steve Round says there's plenty of exciting talent coming through at Goodison Park.
"Everton are producing some excellent British players at the moment and we have a few coming through," he declared on evertonTV. "I'm in big favour of any English player playing in the Premier League."
One of those talents, Dan Gosling, bagged his first goal for the Club in the recent 3-0 win over Sunderland - just two days after making his debut against Middlesbrough.
The strike, an instinctive finish from inside the box, delighted David Moyes' right-hand man, who has been equally impressed with the progress of others.
"We have Dan Gosling, Jose Baxter and Jack Rodwell who are all starting to make their mark and, as the season goes on, and maybe in a couple more years, they can establish themselves as first-team players," he said.
"I was very impressed (with Dan's debut), he showed a very mature performance.
"He had to do a job down the left - especially with Stewart Downing - because Middlesbrough are very strong on that side.
"He filled the holes and with a bit more luck he could have got a goal that game. I'm really pleased for him, he's deserved his opportunity, he's trained hard in the reserves and I'm happy for him."
