Tim Howard has urged Everton fans to get behind the players in the remaining games of the season.
Howard told evertonfc.com: "They play such a vital role, particularly at home - obviously we have a great travelling support, but at home, the way they spur is on is so encouraging.
Howard even revealed that he is just like the fans when the ball is in the opposition penalty area!
"I'm as much of a spectator as the fans when the ball is at the other end of the pitch. I'm clapping, ooh-ing and aah-ing and chanting," he said, before admitting hearing his own 'USA' chant was a special feeling.
"Any time you have any type of chant or song sang about you it shows an affection and it shows that you're appreciated," he smiled.
"So for me every time that happens it's fantastic. The hairs on the back of my neck stand up because I just think that it's really something special because it's a special club and to feel a part of that is awesome."
