Everton News: Big Sam sets his demands; Approach to Wolves boss Nuno made

Everton are eyeing Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo.

The former Valencia coach has rebuilt Wolves this season to transform them into promotion favourites in the Championship.

Spanish expert Guillem Balague wrote on Twitter: "Everton have contacted Nuno as one of the potential candidates to replace Koeman.

"His agent Jorge Mendes is listening, no decision made yet."

Nuno's agent Jorge Mendes is said to be seriously considering their offer as the coach weighs up his options.

Caretaker boss David Unsworth, who has led them to defeats against Chelsea and Leicester, will take charge of the Toffees at Lyon in the Europa League on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Sam Allardyce has put together his demands for Everton ahead of considering the vacant manager's job.

Allardyce is under consideration at Everton following the dismissal of Ronald Koeman last week.

The Sun says he wants a contract for the next 2½ years.

That would include a bumper pay deal plus a survival bonus after Everton made an awful start to put them in danger.

In contrast, Everton chiefs see Allardyce as a firefighter to be hired to the end of the season.

Big Sam would also want to install his own staff, including Craig Shakespeare, just sacked by Leicester City as manager, and keeper coach Martyn Margetson.
