Everton boss Roberto Martinez must sell to buy Ajax defender Toby Alderweireld.
Martinez sent chief scout Kevin Reeves to see the versatile centre-half in action in the Dutch Super Cup final last weekend, where Ajax beat AZ 3-2 after extra time, says the People.
His valuation is around the £6million mark.
Martinez may sell Dutchman Johnny Heitinga if the right bid comes in and is looking for a defender who plays in the middle and can operate on the right.
