Everton must see off Schalke competition for Mlapa

Everton boss David Moyes is facing competition from German side Schalke 04 for 1860 Munich’s teenage striker Peniel Kokou Mlapa.

He has been to watch the 6ft 4in Togo-born hitman and has also had a £3m quote for the 19-year-old’s signature.

Mlapa may be keen to continue his development at home, so giving Schalke an advantage in the race for his transfer.
