Everton are moving for Porto defender Bruno Martins Indi.

O Jogo says Everton boss Ronald Koeman would like to bolster his defensive unit by bringing his compatriot to Goodison Park.

A bid of £8 million is being prepared for the Holland defender.

The Daily Star says Martins Indi, 24, joined Porto from Feyenoord in July 2014 for a modest £6.5m and earns approximately £27,000-per-week.

The Toffees would have no problem in offering him a better deal after the arrival of Farhad Moshiri, who has budgeted a £100m kitty for new additions.

He has also served under Koeman during his two-year reign at Feyenoord.
