Everton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin has branded his relationship with Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho a "paradox".
Mourinho sold Schneiderlin to Everton in January.
The midfielder told SFR Sport: "With him, it went well paradoxically.
"It went well outside the field, I had no worries at all. I came back after the Euros, and he probably knew some players more than me, as he told me, thanks to the preseason and when he had to bring in players, he played these players.
"I was surprised not to play anymore because he was interested in me when he was Chelsea coach. But he was always respectful, no worries. When we played against them, he came to greet me, there was no problem."
