Everton midfielder Jack Rodwell admits he's eyeing an eventual England call.
This season, Rodwell has seen his progress stall due to injury.
On an England call, he told Absolute Radio: "I hope so, you know, it's pretty much a case of getting regular first team football now. You know, this season's not been quite how I imagined it with injuries and stuff, but hopefully next season I can put that right."
Asked where he most liked to play, Rodwell added: "Best position? I don't really know myself. I think I've played centre-half all my life so I'm natural there, but centre-mid is a really good position for me, box to box, you know, I like to get forward and back and use my energy."
