Everton midfielder Steven Pienaar is wanted by Tottenham and Chelsea.

The People says Spurs boss Harry Redknapp is keen to land the powerful Goodison star, who will go into the last year of his contract this summer when he heads off to South Africa to play for the hosts in the World Cup finals.

Spurs have been watching Pienaar for the past few months but Everton will want around £10million.

Redknapp thinks he could solve their left-wing problem and is poised to open talks at the end of the season.

Chelsea have also been keeping tabs on Pienaar, who could be tempted to leave Merseyside despite playing a major part in Everton's revival in the second half of the season.
