Everton midfielder Leon Osman hailed Tim Howard's influence in victory over Aston Villa.
Howard saved a spotkick during the 2-0 win.
Osman told evertonfc.com: "It's always going to be difficult coming to places like this. They started quickly and got the crowd behind them and it took a couple of excellent saves from our goalkeeper to keep us in the game.
"He's been performing like that for a good few seasons for us now. He makes those penalty saves regularly in training and the hard work he puts in shows in moments like that."
