Everton midfielder Kevin Mirallas says Swansea City deserved their 1-0 win on Saturday.

Fernando Llorente's 29th-minute header earned the Swans a vital three points.

Mirallas said: “It was a big game for Swansea and it's never easy to play against a team that are fighting to avoid going down to the Championship. It was only 1-0 and we had some chances but we didn't score.

“Swansea needed to win. They had one or two chances - they scored in the first half - and after that we created some chances but the defence of Swansea stood up to everything."
