Everton midfielder Gerard Deulofeu is on the brink of becoming a father.

Deulofeu could be out of Sunday's clash for AC Milan against Palermo as his partner is about to give birth in Barcelona.

Milan coach Vincenzo Montella is happy for Deulofeu to miss the game.

Just last week, the manager said of his on-loan midfielder: "We are pleased that he feels an integral part of this team.

"In this part of the season he has done great things, if he would score more he could become even bigger."
