Everton midfielder Landon Donovan feels he'll face one of the best players in the world tonight against Tottenham.
Against a vibrant Tottenham Hotspur side, the American international admits he expects more of his focus to be on defending rather than attacking.
Donovan could find himself in direct opposition to Gareth Bale and he explained: "They've got a number of very good players that are playing well. Gareth Bale may be the best left sided player in the world at the moment. If I play it's going to be a challenge, but I like those challenges.
"Tottenham are playing really well. They are right up there in the table and it's as difficult a game as I'll play while I'm here so I'm excited for it.
"It will be nice to go back to White Hart Lane and hopefully we'll get a good result."
