Everton midfielder Tom Davies feels he's already improved after just a couple of months working with manager Marco Silva.
Davies knows he suffered during a troubled campaign, where his form plummeted after being largely ignored under the no-nonsense regime of Sam Allardyce.
He said of Silva: “I feel like I am improving a lot under him. The team is definitely doing a lot better under him. I feel we have more of an identity now and that is down to him. He has a plan for us.
“As soon as he came in, he wanted to speak to me. He asked me what I thought were my strengths. He said he wanted to know my opinions because he had opinions, too. I felt he had a plan for me, and that makes me feel he is someone I know I can improve under.
"The way it is going so far is the way I like to play. He has found a position that suits me so I'm looking forward to it."
Davies added: “I think we felt the same.
“He was trying to see what I think of myself as a player, which is a good thing. I just said how I like to play as a box-to-box midfielder. I feel I can play an attacking role or play a bit deeper, but I prefer going box-to-box. That is how I like the play football."
