Everton midfielder Gareth Barry hopes he impressed watching England coach Roy Hodgson during victory over Norwich City.
Barry scored a rare goal in the 2-0 win.
"Someone told me he was watching," Barry smiled. "I'm not sure he would be expecting me to score goals like that! The manager knows about my game so it's not like I'm young and coming through so we will see.
"He has used players who have rightly got the team qualified and generally he will I'm sure stick with those but if things occur and he needs another player I'm definitely still here.
"It won't be a case of joining up and being fresh and nervous, I would be able to settle straight back in and I'm sure the manager knows that. But we will see. This is the time of year you generally start looking at booking your holidays. I'm not going lie - I will start looking if I don't hear anything soon."
