Everton may find room to cash in on Real Madrid, Chelsea target Fellaini

Everton may have room to cash in on Marouane Fellaini this summer.

The Liverpool Echo says Jack Rodwell and Ross Barkley would find their development in the first team furnished by greater opportunities.

Of course, nobody is keen to see Fellaini leave but a realistic offer in an era of pragmatism may dictate otherwise.

Finding a player to step into the exact void left by Fellaini would be extremely difficult, even by Moyes' transfer market record, and you would lose his goal threat, versatility and ability to dominate games.

But by selling Fellaini, there is a case that Everton would feel less inclined to accept a sizeable offer for Leighton Baines, should Manchester United's interest become more than just that.
