Everton star Ross Barkley has revealed he never practices his free-kicks after hitting the winner against Swansea City yesterday. With the score at 1-1 and six minutes left on the clock, he lined up a 25-yard free-kick before whipping it around the home wall and into the back of the net via the underside of the crossbar - it was expertly measured.
But, afterwards, Barkley admitted to Sky Sports: "I don't really practice free-kicks because Leighton Baines is usually on the pitch, so I thought it was my chance."
