Everton No2 Steve Round insists Victor Anichebe is still in their plans this season.

The Nigeria was linked with a move away over the summer before suffering an injury, but Round says they're counting on his return.

Discussing Everton's firepower, Round said: "Let's not forget Saha's got a bit of competition! Yakubu is coming back who's a proven goalscorer, we've got Jo who's really starting to come to life in the Premier League and a couple of young lads who are starting to come through too.

"We're also waiting for Victor Anichebe to get fit again and you saw last season when we had all the centre forwards out Tim Cahill can do a pretty good job there as well. With that sort of fire power in our squad and with all the competitions we are in we shouldn't be shy of goals this season."
