Everton are making a late move for Tottenham winger Erik Lamela today.

La Provence says Lamela was on his way to Olympique Marseille last night before the deal collapsed.

It's claimed scuppering OM's hopes was a rival offer from a Premier League club.

Everton have been identified as the club involved, with a bid of €25 million lodged.

Blues boss Roberto Martinez has been keen to find a new attacking midfielder in recent weeks.
