Everton have made a major bid for Napoli striker Manolo Gabbiadini.

Sportitalia says Napoli are due to reject a €25m Everton proposal for Gabbiadini.

Especially with the Serie A season starting this weekend, Napoli will not let go of their hitman, who has been promoted to the number one spot after Gonzalo Higuain's Juventus transfer.

Gabbiadini has been scoring regularly in friendlies and the club hopes he finally finds the confidence to shine in Serie A.
