Everton have made a loan move for Tottenham attacker Moussa Sissoko.

L'Equipe says Everton put in a loan offer for Sissoko, despite his decision to turn down a move to Goodison Park last summer.

However, Spurs are looking to offload the 27-year-old on a permanent basis.

The Toffees are believed to have made a loan offer for the midfielder following his disappointing display last term – according to International Business Times.

Sissoko joined Spurs instead of Everton on deadline day last season, but he has failed to find his stride with the North London outfit.
