Everton have made an offer for Lyon winger Rachid Ghezzal.

The Daily Mail says Everton have offered £9million for Ghezzal but face competition from Southampton.

Ghezzal is torn between staying at Lyon or moving to the Premier League with Everton's proposal also offering a 20 percent sell-on clause.

The 24-year-old Algeria international is a right winger but is also comfortable on the left and behind the striker. He scored ten goals for Lyon last season.
