Everton have been hit by an injury blow suffered by Marouane Fellaini.

Fellaini has been ruled out of action for three weeks with injury.

The Belgium star did not train on Tuesday after picking up the problem against Wigan on Saturday and he was sent for a precautionary scan with team doctors.

But the shock news came back that Fellaini - who has enjoyed a hugely impressive start to the campaign - will miss both his country's World Cup games against Scotland and Serbia.
