Everton have lost academy coach Neil Dewsnip to the FA.

Dewsnip had been working under Academy manager Alan Irvine at Finch Farm, where he was responsible for overseeing coaching of all age-groups from nine upwards.

At the FA he will work under Dan Ashworth, The FA's Head of Elite Development, who said: "It has long been said that St. George's Park will only ever be as good as the people that will work here, making a difference to English football. That is true and these appointments underline this."
