Everton are locked in talks with Juventus for young midfielder Luca Marrone.
Sportmediaset says Everton have offered €8.5 million for Marrone, though Juve are insisting on €10 million to sell.
Marrone is ready to move as he seeks regular first team football.
The 23 year-old is viewed as a cheaper option at Everton to Wigan Athletic's €20 million-rated James McCarthy.
