Olympique Marseille star Lucho Gonzalez is interesting Everton.
The People says the Argentina midfielder, 30, has been told he is no longer part of coach Didier Deschamps plans and both parties have agreed he can leave.
Gonzalez is keen to quit France, although a move is being complicated by the £8million price-tag Marseille have slapped on him.
Everton boss David Moyes will struggle to get near that figure, but if the price comes down he will look to make a move.
Gonzalez arrived at Marseille from Porto in 2009 for £15m.
