Everton legend Neville Southall reckons Joe Ledley could be the new Neil Lennon at Celtic.
The Hoops have offered the Cardiff midfielder a whopping £25,000 per week to join and Southall, who coached Ledley for Wales Under-19s, insists Lennon would be getting a carbon copy of himself if he captures Ledley.
He said: "Joe's a right good player and, if I was Neil, I'd be doing everything I can to get hold of him.
"I hear Neil's looking for good players who also have a good character and that's Joe.
"As a player, Neil had talent, but he also worked damn hard and I'm sure he'd be delighted to get someone similar to himself."
Stoke City, however, are regarded as favourites to land the Wales star.
