Everton legend Graeme Sharp is delighted with the deal for Aiden McGeady.
McGeady signed on the weekend from Spartak Moscow.
"He's an interesting player, an exciting player," Sharp told evertontv. "He's had a few years in Moscow and everyone here will remember him from his time with Celtic.
"He's a direct winger who is quick, has good ability on the ball and can score goals as well. He has a little bit of flair as well so he is a good signing for the football club."
