Everton legend Peter Reid is looking forward to how Roberto Martinez settles at Goodison Park.
Reid wrote on evertonfc.com: "I was always impressed with the way he handled himself in the relegation fights with Wigan. There were times when they looked down and out but he didn't panic and that showed with his players who didn't panic either on the park. I don't think he gets ruffled at all and I see that as one of his big attributes. He keeps everything in perspective.
"It's fair to say that Roberto likes possession football which I certainly agree with as I like to see teams get the ball down on the park. I watched Wigan a couple of times last season and I was impressed. There was the FA Cup tie at Goodison and, in the round previously, I saw them win 4-1 at Huddersfield. They were terrific, to be fair."
