Everton legend Reid convinced of "sneaky" derby win

Everton legend Peter Reid feels they're capable of beating Liverpool this weekend at Anfield.

Everton last tasted victory on Liverpool's patch in 1999 - a famous 1-0 win courtesy of Kevin Campbell's goal.

"Anfield is always a difficult place to go and get a result," Reid told evertonfc.com. "I've just got a sneaky feeling this year that it's Everton's time to go there and get a result.

"It's about time Everton won one - the law of averages says that we are due a derby victory and there would be no better place to achieve that than Anfield.

"I get asked quite often where it's better to win a derby, whether it's at Goodison or Anfield, and my answer is the same all the - it doesn't matter which ground."
