Everton legend Kevin Ratcliffe has urged the current team to leave everything on the pitch in their FA Cup quarterfinal against Arsenal.
Ratcliffe, who lifted the famous pot in 1984, has told Martinez and his men that cup glory is more important than securing Champions League football.
"Nobody will remember you if you finish fourth," the former Wales defender told the Daily Star.
"They don't even remember you if you finish second, so what chance have you got if you finished fourth.
"I'd hate to think that in 25 years you would be having a reunion for finishing fourth. That would be a bad thing to have.
"How can you have a reunion when you haven't won anything?"
