Everton have pulled out of their move for free agent Hugo Rodallega.
The Sun says Everton boss David Moyes was keen to take the Colombian striker to Goodison after his Wigan Athletic contract expired.
But Rodallega’s £70,000-a-week wage demands would have immediately put him at the top of Toffees’ pay scale.
Boss Moyes offered him £20,000 less before pulling out of the deal.
Rodallega, 27, is now set to join Fulham later this week after interest from Stoke and Aston Villa also came to nothing.
