Premier League outfit Everton have placed a big money bid for Juventus defender Daniele Rugani, according to reports from Calcio Mercato.

Everton are widely expected to spend big in the transfer market this summer and high profile names such as Juan Mata, Axel Witsel and Kalidou Koulibaly have all been linked with moves to Goodison Park over the past few weeks.

Now according to reports emerging out of Italy, the Toffees are planning another ambitious swoop in the form of Juventus central defender Rugani and are believed to be ready to splash as much as £25.5million to sign the 21-year-old from the Serie A champions.
