Everton kid Kissock delighted with Gretna chance

Everton's teenage midfielder John Paul Kissock was pleased to make his senior debut on-loan at Gretna in their 2-0 defeat to Hearts.

"It was good for me to get my first game," he told evertonfc.com. "They were the better team though, simple as that.

"I enjoyed it and I felt confident every time I got the ball.

"I am here for the rest of the season and I intend to make the very most of it. We play Hibs in midweek and we've also got Rangers at Ibrox before the end of the month, so it's brilliant experience for me.

"I needed to be playing regularly and hopefully if I work hard up here I will get some games in and then be ready to try to push my career on back at Everton."
