Everton goalkeeper John Ruddy is extending his loan at Crewe until the end of April.

A statement on the official Crewe website read: "Crewe Alexandra and Everton have agreed to extend John Ruddy's loan agreement to the maximum 93 days once his initial spell expires after tomorrow's match at Brighton.

"The two clubs are now just awaiting Premier League clearance after the agreement was filed with the football league yesterday."

Ruddy has conceded just three goals in his last five games.
