Everton goalkeeper Joel Robles enjoys working with keeper coach Inaki Bergara.
The pair were also together at Wigan Athletic.
"Inaki is important," the 24-year-old told evertonfc.com. "He's done a lot for me and I think he's done a lot for Tim [Howard] as well. He's close to us both and a friend to us both.
"The Inaki that you see around the place is very friendly, very outgoing - he's a bit of an extroverted character. He is always happy, always laid back.
"But that's nothing like the Inaki you see on the training pitch. He's very, very tough with us in training - there's no smiling, no joking around.
"After some sessions I almost want to grab him he's pushed us so hard!
"But he's brilliant to have around and he's been so important for me, both from a football point of view and also helping me settle and communicate."
