Everton goalkeeper Jan Mucha insists he did not realise he had copped a driving ban - because he doesn't read his post!
The Daily Mail report he must serve 250 hours community service after he was caught driving in Cheshire whilst disqualified.
When he was interviewed by police, the Slovakian said he was unaware of his suspension as he passes all his correspondence on to officials at Everton to read and sort out.
Michelle Brown, defending, later said Mucha was aware he was disqualified until March 12 and had simply miscalculated when the ban ended.
But she admitted Mucha - who is set to make his first appearance in the Barclays Premier League on Saturday, some two-and-a-half years after joining Everton - lived in a 'very insular world' and said he would take more care in the future to manage his own affairs.
