Everton goalkeeper Tim Howard is a big fan of New York Red Bulls defender Tim Ream.
Howard has been impressed by Ream in action for the USA in the Gold Cup.
Ream didn't start against Guadeloupe, but that apparently was not because of the Panama game but to give Aston Villa fullback Eric Lichaj a look at left back.
"It happens," Howard told STLtoday.com. "That's how you learn. It's knowing the game, learning the game, being smart. That's why all these old men can play center back. Listen, Tim's a very good player. I enjoy playing with him. I think there are a lot of good days to come."
