Everton are plotting a late swoop for Cardiff striker Kenneth Zohore this transfer window, according to Tom Barclay of the Sun.

BBC has also claimed that Cardiff have already turned down an initial enquiry from the Toffees for the Denmark U21 international.

The 23-year-old has made an impressive start to the new season with Cardiff as they sit top of the Championship table with a perfect record after five games.

Hull City and Brighton have also been linked with Zohore in the past.
