Everton are in advanced talks with former Watford boss Marco Silva.
The Mirror says Everton have been in negotiations with the Portuguese's agent, following 24 hours of seismic change which has seen manager Sam Allardyce, his coaching staff and director of football Steve Walsh all depart since the season finale on Sunday.
Despite complaints from Silva's last employers Watford over an alleged illegal approach from his services last year, NOTHING contractually stands in the way of the Goodison club appointing their number one target immediately.
Silva has no clauses after leaving Vicarage Road, but the Hornets ARE pushing for up to £8million in compensation after claiming Everton's unwanted approach in November ultimately forced them to sack him.
