Everton hero Ian Snodin feels Swansea City striker Wilfried Bony would be a great addition to Roberto Martinez's squad.
Martinez is chasing the Ivorian for the summer market.
Snodin wrote in the Liverpool Echo: "Everton will be looking to buy a striker in the summer - and they could do worse than Wilfried Bony. To say I was rather happy when Swansea City manager Gary Monk decided to sub the Ivory Coast forward at Goodison on Saturday is an understatement.
"Bony had been playing really well. In fact, better than that, he was a proper handful.
"I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw his number come up but I was happy - and a touch relieved - to see him trot off and be replaced by Michu.
"Bony is strong, holds the ball up well and scores goals and if he is available in the summer then I would definitely put his name in the hat.
"I would enjoy watching him in an Everton shirt and after Saturday's performance, I'm sure most Evertonians will agree."
