Everton hero Kevin Ratcliffe is delighted hearing manager Ronald Koeman is already in talks with transfer targets.

Ratcliffe wrote for the Liverpool Echo:"With rolling coverage, camera phones and social media, players and managers are always going to be on the spotlight, on or off the pitch.

"So it's no surprise to see a couple of occasions where Ronald Koeman has been spotted talking to agents, directors and, we hope, potential transfer targets.

"It's a good sign, as far as I'm concerned. Because I want Everton to break from recent habit and get their business done early this summer.

"I want us to be proactive in the market, not sitting on our hands."
