Everton hero Neville eager to interview for job

Former Everton captain Phil Neville fancies the Blues job.

The Sun says Neville has put his hat in the ring for the Everton job - as the club confirmed David Unsworth is in temporary charge.

Neville, 40, has previously worked as an assistant manager at Valencia and worked under David Moyes and Ryan Giggs at Manchester United.

The younger brother of former England defender Gary, Neville made 250 appearances for the Toffees over eight seasons after leaving Manchester United.
