Everton have a cut-price option in place for on-loan West Ham striker Enner Valencia.
The Liverpool Echo says it had been widely understood that West Ham had agreed a fee of £14.5m for the 27-year-old.
However, Everton would have to pay under £12m to sign the Ecuador forward who has scored three times in 17 league appearances this season.
Valencia is believed to be a popular member of the Blues squad and in 2017 Ronald Koeman's side are averaging a goal every 10 minutes at Goodison whilst he is on the pitch.
The striker's impact at Everton has alerted a number of clubs to his availability this summer.
