Everton happy to offer Man City's Barry 3-year deal

Everton boss Roberto Martinez is ready to hand Gareth Barry a long-term deal.

Barry is on-loan from Manchester City, where he comes off contract in June.

The People says Martinez is so impressed by the experienced midfielder - a star in his loan spell - that he is prepared to offer him £50,000-a-week for the next three seasons.

Barry, 33, is on more money at Manchester City and would have to take a cut, but he is a free agent in the summer and there may not be a better offer.
