Everton have handed trials to Swedish goalkeeper Jacob Rinne.

The 19 year-old is tied to BK Forwards and will travel to Liverpool next week for tests at Finch Farm.

"Yes, it will be great fun. It's an honor to go to such a big club like Everton, with so many good players. It will also be interesting to see how this club works," Rinne told fotbolltransfers.com.

"Yes, this will be the first overseas trip for me. A few years ago there were reports of a trial game with Nottingham Forest, but it fizzled out."
