Everton boss David Moyes is chasing Arsenal defender Philippe Senderos.

The Mail on Sunday says Moyes wants to recruit a centre-half in January as he prepares to face Birmingham City today without 10 key players.

Switzerland's Senderos, 24, has not featured for Arsene Wenger in the Premier League this season and should be available on loan.

Everton will be without Sylvain Distin, Dan Gosling, Jack Rodwell, Joseph Yobo (all hamstring) and Victor Anichebe, Mikel Arteta, Phil Jagielka, Phil Neville and James Vaughan (all knee) against Birmingham.
