Everton have been boosted by news that young gun Magaye Gueye is fit and looking to slot straight into the first team.
The 21-year old French attacker has been out for a month because of a broken toe but after getting through most of a reserves game on Tuesday night, is looking to give David Moyes a headache at the selection table.
"I feel better now, I was playing so well before I got injured and I was feeling really fit," he said.
"When I was injured I did all the training and rehab I could as I wanted to come back quickly because we need the players and I feel really good.
"The gaffer says I have the ability to be in the team, I just need more games.
"I played in the reserve team for a long time last season but now I feel ready for the first team.
"The injury gave me a bit of a break but I'm working hard everyday and if the boss calls me to go on the pitch I will be ready."
