Everton fullback Seamus Coleman has extended his loan at Blackpool to the end of the season.

The young Irishman has been in splendid form for the Seasiders, scoring his first goal in English football earlier this month.

Before the loan extension was agreed Holloway said: "I will have to have a word with David Moyes about the young boy. His team is doing very well and hopefully he will leave him with us for first-team experience.

"It is doing him the world of good. He must have wondered what he had let himself in for when we were two down in our first game, but now he knows how good we are."
