Everton fullback Leighton Baines says there's no point thinking of what could have been as they chase a top four finish.

"The start of the season wasn't what we had hoped for," admitted Baines to evertonfc.com. "People may look at it and think that if we had started a bit better, where would we be? But there's no point looking at it like that - we have done fantastically since then.

"I am pleased to be playing and to be involved in setting up goals and things like that is good.

"I'm just looking forward to the games and it feels so good to be playing on a regular basis."
